Fulbright Indo-American Environmental Leadership Program (IAELP) |
The Fulbright Indo-American Environment Leadership Program is designed for mid to senior level American environmental professionals in the public, private or non-governmental sectors. The program combines a 8-12 week practical fellowship in India with opportunities for networking with Indian counterpart organizations.
The reach of this program is broad, and may include the following areas:
Environmental Information Management (Including environmental impact assessment, benchmarking, audits, disclosure, and monitoring, website and database management.)
Environmental Policy, Regulations and Law (Including the design of environmental legislation and regulation, compliance and enforcement, environmental economics, environmental policymaking and stakeholder involvement, the role of local government, and ecosystem governance.)
Environmental Education (Including curriculum development, instructional media, environmental awareness, and journalism.)
Environmental Sciences, Testing and Toxicology (Including engineering, technology assessment, modelling, testing and instrumentation, and toxicology.)
