Several schools cooperate with the Forest Service and allow the CCC to educate students about the environment. The program is guided to educate students from K-12 grades.

Elementary and Middle School Level

In the elementary and middle school levels, students participate in Green Zone. Green Zone provides the students with lessons that emphasize life science, earth science, physical science, and natural resources. The students who participate in Green Zone are part of an after school program where they have homework time and learn a variety of subjects, in addition to Green Zone subjects, including: arts, English, and physical education.

High School Level

At the high school level, the generation green club educates students by exposing them to natural resource careers with the USDA, forest service. The environmental education program also allows students to gain an understanding of their environment including issues faced today such as global warming.
