Our Staff & Offices

Constructed of brick, waste mine rock and granite, the former general office building for the Calumet & Hecla Company now serves as the headquarters for Keweenaw National Historical Park. 
 
Our offices are located at 25970 Red Jacket Road, just off U.S. Highway 41 in Calumet, Michigan. To contact any of the park staff, dial 906-337-1104, followed by the appropriate three digit extension. The Museum, Archives & Historical Services Division staff are located in the Keweenaw History Center (former C&H Public Library) at 25947 Red Jacket Road. To email park staff, click on the person's name.

Did You Know?
"Keweenaw" (pronounced key-wah-nah) is an Ojibway word that means "the crossing place," or "land crossing between two bodies of water." It refers to the Ojibway's use of Portage Lake as a portage across the Keweenaw Peninsula.
