from Idaho and Montana fires
This visible satellite
image was taken at 900am PDT 9 Aug 00. Fires in central Idaho and southwest
Montana generate huge amounts of smoke. This smoke was carried by the
upper level winds across South Dakota and Nebraska, and into Iowa and
Ilinois. |
