GROUND WATER BRANCH TECHNICAL MEMORANDUM NO. 83.01

Subject: GROUND WATER--Updates to SWIP (INTERA) Model for Solute
                        Transport

During the past 3 years, several errors in the 1979 version of the
SWIP (or INTERA) solute and heat transport code have been
discovered. The errors range from trivial typographical errors to
major revisions in the PROD and PRINT2 subroutines in order to
enable the option of wells providing constant-pressure boundary
conditions to perform correctly. This memorandum is to inform
users of this model that a detailed memorandum listing the errors
and the changes needed to correct them is available from Ken Kipp,
MS 413, Denver Federal Center. Also, if users become aware of
other errors in the code, or the appropriate corrections, please
let Ken know so that he can update his master listing.
