Subject: TRAINING - Summary of the Seminar on Geophysical Log
                    Analysis and Formation Evaluation, WRD
                    Training Center, Denver, Colorado,
                    January 13-17, 1975.

The attached summary of selected methods of borehole logging and
interpretation was prepared at our request by five participants in
the Division's advanced Seminar on Geophysical Log Analysis and
Formation Evaluation, January 13-17, 1975.  The summary covers
recent advances in geophysical log interpretation, digitization
and computer analysis and recently developed instrumentation and
logging techniques and is distributed for the information of
ground-water specialists unable to attend the course offering.
Descriptions of some basic computer programs utilized in the
analysis of geophysical logs are appended to the Summary.

L. MacCary, R. W. Maclay and W. E. Teasdale.
