About Stay on Track

Our goal for the 2008-2009 school year is to reach 120,000 middle school students in 48 states and territories where the National Guard has a presence. The National Center for Prevention and Research Solutions (NCPRS), developers of Stay on Track, conducts several training courses (SOT 101) each year to train National Guard members as program implementers. The 3.5 day training includes the following topics: an intimate knowledge of the curriculum, understanding the future direction of the National Guard Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) initiative, implementation strategies, a history of the program, how to train other implementers, youth protection, and more. Upon completion of Stay on Track 101, National Guard personnel have the tools they need to take this exciting, innovative program to their state for many successful implementations.
