The gray circles indicate other stations that were not ranked in percentiles either because they have fewer than 30 years of record or because they report parameters other than streamflow. Some stations, for example, measure stage only.


Statewide Streamflow Table

Real-time data typically are recorded at 15-60 minute intervals, stored onsite, and then transmitted to USGS offices every 1 to 4 hours, depending on the data relay technique used. Recording and transmission times may be more frequent during critical events. Data from real-time sites are relayed to USGS offices via satellite, telephone, and/or radio and are available for viewing within minutes of arrival. All real-time data are provisional and subject to revision.

NOTICE (09/03/2008) --Data collection and/or real-time data delivery at the following streamgages may be discontinued on September 30, 2008 due to funding reductions from partner agencies. Although historic data will remain accessible, no new data will be collected and/or real-time data will be delivered unless one or more new funding partners are found. Users who can contribute funding to continue operation of these streamgages should contact Bob Hainly of the USGS Pennsylvania Water Science Center at (717-730-6971, rahainly@usgs.gov).
NOTICE (10/01/2008) --Data collection and/or real-time data delivery at all of the following streamgages and rain gages and one of the water-quality monitors will be continued while active funding negotiations are underway with several parties. As a result of funding reductions, water-quality data collection has been discontinued at the two water-quality monitors located on the Tioga River.
NOTICE (11/26/2008) --Data collection and/or real-time data delivery at all of the following streamgages and rain gages and one of the water-quality monitors will be continued through September 30, 2009, as a result of funding received from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, the National Weather Service, and the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers-Baltimore District. Funding for operation of equipment at all of these sites is uncertain beyond September 2009. Water-quality data collection has been discontinued at the water-quality monitors located on the Tioga River at Tioga Junction and the West Branch Susquehanna River at Renovo.
