Learn About the Regulations We Initiated This Month

Each month, we post summaries, proposed publication dates, contacts, and other information about recently initiated rules, giving you early notice of upcoming regulatory actions. These Action Initiation Lists augment our Semiannual Regulatory Agendas, which provide the public with updates every six months.

Subscribe to Email Notifications on Specific Rules

Via Regulations.gov, you can sign up for email notifications so you will be alerted when a document (e.g., a proposed rule or a meeting notice) is added to a docket. All of EPA's rules have a docket on Regulations.gov.

You must register for notifications for every rule you're interested in. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Docket Details page for the rule you're interested in.
2. Click the "Notification" icon found in the upper, right portion of your screen. Fill out the registration form that is presented to you.
3. Once you have completed the form, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form.
4. You will receive an email with instructions for how to complete the registration process. Make sure you follow these instructions. You will not begin receiving notifications until you do.

Regulations.gov offers an RSS feed that will alert you when new information is added to the site. To subscribe, click the RSS icon in the lower right corner of the Regulations.gov home page.
