National Legislation

  • Coalition for Health Services Research - (AcademyHealth)  - Advocacy arm of AcademyHealth and is supported by portions of AcademyHealth members' dues. Its mission is to build and advance the field of health services research.
  • Federal and State Legislative Tracking - (Massachusetts Health Data Consortium (MHDA))  - The Consortium's Legislation Tracker provides links to bills introduced in the areas of health information technology, patient safety, quality and access to care / affordability.
  • The Federal Register - (National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) U.S.)  - The Office of the Federal Register (OFR) provides access to the official text of federal laws, presidential documents, and to administrative regulations and notices.
  • Government Technology - (U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) US)  - Link to government technology news articles, magazine, and resources.
  • GovTrack - An independent tool to help the public research and track the activities in the U.S. Congress.
  • Legislation and Congressional Activities - (National Cancer Institute, NIH (NCI))  - Allows users to learn about recent events on the Hill as they relate to cancer research, or check the status of pending legislation and find out about hearings of interest to cancer research and advocacy communities.
  • THOMAS - Legislation - (Library of Congress)  - THOMAS was launched in January of 1995, at the inception of the 104th Congress. The leadership of the 104th Congress directed the Library of Congress to make federal legislative information freely available to the public. State Legislation

  • State Net - Delivers vital data, legislative intelligence and in-depth reporting for people who care about the actions of government. Monitors every bill in the 50 states, District of Columbia and Congress, and every state agency regulation.
