Scoping Letter
February 2003
- - -

On February 20, 2003 the National Park Service sent out a Scoping Letter seeking comments on three proposed projects: the rehabilitation of two firing ranges, modification of the Market Plaza Bus Stop, and improving safety and accessibility at Mather Point. One of the firing ranges is located on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park. All of the other projects are located on the South Rim. The purpose of the scoping letter is to describe the initial proposed action for the project and to solicit comments from those who might have issues or concerns regarding the proposal before the environmental analysis for the project is begun. Public comment for the Scoping Letter ended March 21, 2003.

The Scoping Letter is available as a PDF file. PDF files retain the look and feel of the original document (including typography, page layout, and graphics).
