Research currently conducted at our lab includes the impact of fire on air quality and visibility, wildfire and ecology research, the effects of fire on air, the impacts of smoke on human health, and social science (rural and urban wildland interface).
   
Fire and Environmental Research Applications Team (FERA)

FERA develops applications in fire science that respond to national priorities in natural resource management, decision-making and policy.
