Hawaii Drift Card Study NOAA OR&R scientists conducted this two-year exploratory study to learn more about the direction of ocean currents off Oahu.

Safe Sanctuaries 2005 Drift Card Release This drift card release was one component of the pollution response drill, "Safe Sanctuaries 2005," conducted in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.

Drift Card Results: Safe Seas 2006 In the "Safe Seas 2006" emergency response exercise, spilled pollutants were simulated by the release of hundreds of drift cards at the site of the hypothetical spills.
