Drift Card Projects
  • Hawaii Drift Card Study NOAA OR&R scientists conducted this two-year exploratory study to learn more about the direction of ocean currents off Oahu.
  • Drift Card Results: Safe Seas 2006 In the "Safe Seas 2006" emergency response exercise, spilled pollutants were simulated by the release of hundreds of drift cards at the site of the hypothetical spills.
