Information Specialist
Kristy Guy
Purpose
Conduct Post-Hurricane Bonnie survey to document the coast and survey the water
conditions on August 28, 1998.
Information to be Derived
Collect baseline documents for analysis of coastal change due to extreme storms.
Summary
4 mini DV tapes burned onto 5 DVDs; 34 Rolls of film (approximately 1,118
slides)
Notes
Digitized by J. Subino.
Video navigation fixes were acquired using Optical Character Recognition and were then interpolated for each second for which a known fix is not available using AVIsynth & Excel. Analog and digital data are stored at the USGS St. Petersburg Office in the Extreme Storm Impact Event storage facility Room 128 & 254. Digital version of the data also exists online on the internal St. Petersburg Lidar server. Cessna Single engine Plane used.
