AMERICA'S BEST--INDEPENDENT INVENTORS--WILL SHOW THEIR STUFF
               AT THE NATIONAL INVENTOR'S EXPO
                              
ARLINGTON, VA -- To celebrate American ingenuity, the U.S.
Patent and Trademark will co-sponsor the 24th Annual
Inventor's Exposition and Conference with the Intellectual
Property Owners at Epcot this weekend.  "The Inventors' Expo
is our opportunity to highlight what's best in America--our
inventors.  Individuals who look at the world and think,
`What can I contribute to make it better?'--and innovators
who, with ingenuity and determination, if fact, make that
difference,"announced Bruce A. Lehman, Assistant Secretary
of Commerce and Commissioner of Patents and Trademarks.

Event:    The 24th Annual Inventor's Expo, Celebrating
American Ingenuity

Date:          Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November 15, 16,
and 17, 1996
