Chicken Bone Timber Sale-  on the schedule for advertisement in the early summer 2009
Estimated volume = 5 mmbf of primarily non-saw material
No road construction or reconstruction package is expected at this time. This sale may evolve into a Stewardship project if the market for non-saw material will not support a traditional timber sale contract.

Ricochet Timber Sale-
on the schedule for advertisement in the spring of 2009.
Estimated volume = 3 mmbf
No road construction or reconstruction package is expected at this time. Much of the sawtimber has converted to non-saw

There is concern that market and infrastructure conditions may make both these sales non-viable economically.
