43 COMMUNITIES SELECTED FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES PROGRAM
NRPA, in concert with other national organizations, has announced the selection of 43 communities in 21 states that will help to advance the national effort to prevent chronic diseases and related risk factors through a locally collaborative approach. The program, which is titled the Action Communities for Health, Innovation, and Environmental Change (ACHIEVE), is supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Health Communities Program.
