• How do I subscribe to an email list?

  Send an e-mail message to LISTSERV@LIST.NIH.GOV with the following text in the message body:
  (listname = the name of list you want to join; your full name = your first and last names)

• How do I unsubscribe from an email list?

  Send an e-mail message to LISTSERV@LIST.NIH.GOV with the following text in the message body:

• How do I send mail to a list?

  To "post" to a list, address an e-mail message to:
  (listname = the name of the list to which you wish to post)

• How do I temporarily suspend list messages while I'm away from the office?

  Send an e-mail message to LISTSERV@LIST.NIH.GOV with the following text in the message body:

• How do I find the online archives of a list that is not on the Email Lists page?

  Go to the NIH List of Lists Web site. Type the name of the list you are looking for in the search box at the bottom of the page and click the Go! button. This will take you directly to the archives page for that list.
  
  

  
  
• How do I change my subscriber address?

  Go to the NIH's Change My Subscriber Address Web site. If you are unsure of the exact address you used to subscribe, send a QUERY command to the list. In the reply, it will show the email address LISTSERV® is using to send mail to you.
  
  

  
  
• How do I create a password and why do I need one?

  Go to the NIH LISTSERV Web site. Select For General Users and then select Create a Listserv Password. Fill in the form as instructed on the page. You will receive an e-mail confirmation after you’ve successfully created your password.
  Depending on your list, you may need a password to access various list features, such as posting messages via forms, changing personal options, and viewing the list archive.

  To contact the owner of a list, send an e-mail message to:

• Where can I find a list of all NLM e-mail lists?
