On March 24, 2009 Dave Stilwell, New York Field Office and DJ Monette, Regional Office, visited Iroquois NWR to present information on Strategic Habitat Conservation (SHC). The informative hour long presentation ended with a larger group discussion.  The presentation was instrumental is helping staff better understand SHC and the role that all employees play in its implementation of Service work. A total of 17 employees attended the presentation, representing  Iroquois NWR, Lower Great Lakes Fisheries Resources Office and Office of Law Enforcement.
