“Connecting People with Nature” – Lower Great Lakes Fishery Resources Office Participates in 2008 Niagara County Field Days

Lower Great Lakes Fishery Resources Office (LGLFRO) biologist Betsy Trometer participated in the 2008 Niagara County Environmental Education Field Days held at Royalton Ravine Park in Gasport, NY.  Betsy demonstrated the collection and identification of aquatic macroinvertebrates, and their use as indicators of water quality.  A total of 930 elementary and middle school students attended the 2-day program hosted by the Niagara County Soil & Water Conservation District.
