Missouri Junior Duck Display Featured Across Missouri.

The Missouri Junior Duck Stamp display is currently featured at Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge in Mound City, Mo.  In June the display will be traveling to Runge Conservation Nature Center in Jefferson City. 

 

The below list is the featured locations of the Missouri Junior Duck Stamp display throughout the year. The display has received positive feedback and many of the display locations have hosted special events around the display.

National Hunting and Fishing Day, Bass Pro Springfield, September

Burr Oak Woods Conservation Nature Center Blue Springs, MO (MDC) - September

Discovery Center Urban Conservation Campus, (MDC) Kansas City, October

Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center, (MDC) St. Louis – November

Cape Girardeau Conservation Nature Center, Cape Girardeau, MO (MDC) – December

Mingo NWR - January

Camdenton County Library, Camdenton, MO. February

Daniel Boone Regional Library, Columbia, MO February-March.

 

The artwork will return to the Big Muddy National Fish and Wildlife Refuge in April 2009and will be returned to the artists who created them.  The refuge will have two new displays available by the end of April to start the above circuit over again for the enjoyment of thousands of patrons to these public facilities.  The artwork is also available for viewing on line on the refuge website.  www.fws.gov/midwest/bigmuddy.
