Allison Arnold of the Austin Ecological Services Office gave a presentation to the American Society of Civil Engineers in Round Rock, Texas on Jannuary 25.  She discussed the use of creativity and innovation in design and problem solving  when endangered species occur on sites slated for civil engineering projects.  She gave some examples we are dealing with now and some past examples from other Service offices that were success stories.  The session was interactive and included many questions from the participants.
