As of June 17^th the 2006 year class of yearling lake trout reared and stocked out of Jordan River NFH resides in lakes Huron and Michigan. 

The lake trout arrived as eyed eggs beginning in mid November of 2005.  The yearlings were comprised of three different strains, Superior Apostle Island Wild, Seneca Lake Wild and Lewis Lake Wild.  

More than 2.2 million lake trout yearlings were released between mid April and Mid June .  Of the 2.2 million, slightly more than 1.2 million were stocked offshore in Lake Huron and 1 million were stocked offshore in Lake Michigan.
