Green Bay Field Office Talks Migratory Birds with Spring Wings Festival Goers at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary

Leakhena Au, Green Bay Ecological Services Field Office, hosted a booth at the Spring's Wings festival at the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Spring's Wings is a new annual art and birding festival celebrating International Migratory Bird Day.  Au provided information about the Partners in Flight Program and other Fish and Wildlife Service efforts to conserve neotropical migratory bird species. She spoke with festival goers about migration, cowbirds, bird biology, birdwatching, whooping cranes and other rare species, and backyard activities to support bird conservation.
