On February 10, Crab Orchard NWR Park Ranger Karin Magera presented a program about endangered species and wildlife contraband to boy scouts and afternoon mall goers, at the Boy Scout Expo. 

About 50 scouts, parents and shoppers examined an elephant tusk, a sea turtle shell, an ocelot fur coat and more,  while learning more about illegal wildlife trafficking.
