United States Senator Kit Bond visited the Neosho National Fish Hatchery. on August 30, 2006.  The Senator toured the hatchery and then announced, during a Press Conference, that more funds have bee secured for the proposed visitor center for the nation's oldest federal fish hatchery still in operation.
