Journal Entry   Back New Mexico Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program Attends AgFest de Santa Fe Event, February 2006 Southwest Region, February 2, 2006 Print Friendly Version At the invitation of the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau, staff with the New Mexico Partners for Fish and Wildlife (Partners) Program attended “AgFest de Santa Fe,” the annual celebration of New Mexico’s diverse agriculture industry at the Sweeny Center in Santa Fe on February 2, 2006.  This is an invitation-only event, hosted by the New Mexico Farm and Livestock Bureau.  The event showcases food and other agriculture products from the Land of Enchantment and coincides with the New Mexico Legislative Session in Santa Fe.  AgFest offers a unique setting for people in agriculture to mingle with elected state representatives and staff from various agencies and businesses in a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying a spectrum of products produced in New Mexico.  It provided an opportunity for the Partners Program to market what we do and to network with producers and other potential partners to conserve and restore wildlife and their habitat on private lands.
