2009 SLAC Summer Student
Program
Through this program, approximately 1600 students have
benefited over the years from their experiences working
alongside professionals who have opened the way for them to
see life in a scientific environment.
This year there is one notable change, all students must
be 18 years of age or older to participate in the program.
The focus on safety remains strong and all students will be
required to complete the Safety Comes First Checklist,
including completing any mandatory ES&H training classes,
reviewing applicable hazard analyses, and with their
supervisor, completing an ATA for their job. Please read the
program information carefully and feel free to call the
Employment Services Office with your questions. Please see
