Portable Document Files (PDFs)

Many documents the LTBMU creates are turned into Portable Document Files or PDFs.  This document file format is readable across many platforms like Microsoft Windows, Apple's operating system, Unix, Linux, and others.  It is also an excellent way in many cases to present maps because all visitors can zoom in on those maps and not lose picture resolution.  We are aware, however, that not everyone can access and read PDF documents.  If you experience any problems accessing one of our PDF documents or would like to obtain them in an alternate format, please contact us.

Opening a PDF document requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader.  This program will allow you to view and print PDF documents. If you need Adobe's Acrobat Reader, please select the link below titled "Get Acrobat Reader."  Selecting this link will take you to Adobe's web site.  From there, you can download your free copy of the Acrobat Reader program.  Once you've downloaded Acrobat Reader you will need to return to this page.
