Airports - New England Region

The last year has seen several new faces join the New England Region Airports Division:

LaVerne Reid joined the region as Manager of the Airports Division. LaVerne has been with the FAA for over 25 years, most recently as Manager of the Memphis Airport District Office.

Bryon Rakoff joined the region in September 2004 as Branch Manager of Airport Planning and Programming. Bryon joins the FAA from the private sector, where he gained over 26 years of airport planning experience at airports throughout the Northeast and nationwide.
- Michel Hovan joined the region in May 2006 as Branch Manager of Airport Safety & Standards. Michel is a licensed Professional Engineer with 20 years of civil engineering experience. Michel comes from the William J. Hughes FAA Technical Center where he managed Research & Development programs that support the development of FAA Airport Standards.
