Newspaper Notices Federal regulations require that notice of certain proposals be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the communities that will be affected to allow the general public an opportunity to comment. First select the District and then the appropriate filing type to obtain the recommended language for the newspaper notice and the publication instructions.
