Pennsylvania One Cleanup Program Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)

The US EPA Region 3 and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection's (PADEP) MOA promotes the "One Cleanup Program" initiative by working together to promote sound and protective remedies, shared science and technological approaches that protect human health and the environment.

Memorandum of Agreement - This document is the official signed agreement documenting the purpose, provisions, applicability, implementation, protectiveness, community participation, reporting, and modification requirements.

MOA Guidance – A flowchart and description of a streamlined process developed to guide the joint efforts of the MOA. Key features are: a lead project manager to serve as a single point of contact for the client, the simplification of process steps on most projects, and much faster approvals.

One Cleanup Program – USEPA Headquarters webpage for the Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) One Cleanup Program. This page details the goals to improve the coordination, speed, and effectiveness of cleanups at the nation's contaminated sites.

PA Act 2 – PADEP's Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act.  This is a link to the state Web site that describes and defines the requirements of the Land Recycling Program.
