From local backcountry road and trail riding to organized road events, the Wallowa-Whitman National Forest offers hundreds of miles of riding opportunities. Many areas are becoming favorite rides for those who want to see spectacular scenery, be challenged by rough forest trails, or enjoy a ride along a rural road.
With 4 scenic byways spread across the forest, Northeast Oregon is also a popular ride for Cycle Oregon and other organized events. These scenic byways include:
