Are All Seats Safe?
All car seats rated by NHTSA meet Federal Safety Standards & strict crash performance standards. While all rated seats are safe, they do differ in their ease of use in four basic catagories:

Labels do not clearly depict LATCH preparation. Labels do not remind caregiver to tighten LATCH.

The caregiver must read text to correctly prepare and route the LATCH belt.
Securing the Child4 stars
The harness clip is not labeled to indicate proper placement. Multiple actions are required to convert the seat to the rear-facing mode from other modes; these must be carefully followed in the manual.
Installation Features4 stars
A line is printed or molded on the CRS that must be level with the ground when the restraint is installed. There are not three levels of built-in recline available. Push-button-style connectors are used for LATCH that do not require twisting to remove from the vehicle. No label is posted on the restraint to denote LATCH storage.
