MICHAEL W. REAP
Acting United States Attorney

Michael W. Reap is a native of St. Louis.  He graduated St. Louis University School of Commerce & Finance. He received his law degree from St. Louis University Law School in 1970.

Immediately after graduation, Mr. Reap became an Assistant Public Defender for the City of St. Louis. In 1972, he accepted a Special Attorney position with the Justice Department's Office of Drug Abuse Law Enforcement. He joined the U.S. Attorney's office in 1973.  In August 1992, Reap became First Assistant U.S. Attorney.
