Mount St. Helens saw its shadow this morning according to the VolcanoCam Classic camera. That means at least six more weeks of winter is expected in the Cascade Range.

VolcanoCamHD Update: A Mount St. Helens maintenance crew recently made it to the Johnston Ridge Observatory as part of a winter inspection of the closed visitor center. They found nothinfg outwardly wrong wih the VolcanoCamHD camera. Unfortunately, access to the JRO is still hampered by weather and other restrictions. We will keep you posted.
