Broad Information Technology and Telecommunication Services (BITS II)

In June 2003, the Federal Aviation Administration entered into multiple contracts with Small Businesses, 8(a), Women-Owned, Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) to provide comprehensive IT technical support services. Broad Information Technology and Telecommunications Services. BITS II is a follow – on contract to the Broad Information Technologies Contract (BITS), which expired in August 2003.

BITS II is an Information Technology and Telecommunications Services Contract issued through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and is available to all Federal Government agencies.

BITS II is a multi-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract with fixed labor rates. Currently 26 Teams of Small Businesses, 8(a), Women-Owned, Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB) participate as BITS II contractors. Each company was chosen on the basis of its proven quality of work and competitive rates.

The BITS II Team provides a full range of contract management services, including assistance with Procurement Requests and Reimbursable Agreements, assists in preparation of the Statement of Work, and invoice monitoring and processing. The BITS II Team also works closely with customers and contractors to assure quality and timely performance, and a high level of customer satisfaction. Most Task Orders will be awarded within 7 weeks from receipt of a reasonably complete Task Order Package.

BITS II provides IT and Telecommunication services in 12 functional areas. Which include:
