This area of the site contains links to invasive species lists, watch lists, activities, and laws. They have been developed by various individuals, groups, and organizations to describe invasive species found in U.S. states and territories, coastal and aquatic habitats associated with the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and in neighboring countries such as Canada and Mexico.

U.S. General Invasive Species Lists

> List of species that are invasive in the USA, native in the USA but invasive in other places, and species whose biostatus is unknown (their status as an invasive species is yet to be determined) (Global Invasive Species Database).

The list includes algae, arachnids (spiders), bacteria, crustaceans, fungi, insects, plants, platyhelminthes (e.g. worms), protists (e.g. slime moulds), and vertebrates (e.g. amphibians, birds, fish, mammals, reptiles, etc.). The species names in this list are linked to photos, maps, and other descriptive information.
