The R/V Lake Guardian recently completed the Spring 2003 Survey April 7 - April 30, 2003

April 29, 2003
At 0800 EDT this date, the ship was at Carbide Dock,Sault Ste Marie, MI.
Weather conditions were as follows: it was clear; the wind was from the northwest at 1kt (330 degrees); the seas were calm; visibility was unlimited; ambient air temperature was 36.3 F degrees.
Stations sampled: Lake Superior, SU5 & SU03.
Port (Arriv/Dep): Sault Ste Marie 2258 28Apr03.
24 Hour ETA: Green Bay, MI.
Remarks: Revised ETA Milwaukee 0300 AM Thursday, May 1, 2003.

At 0700 EDT this date, the ship was 28nm northeast Stannard Rock in Lake Superior.
Weather conditions were as follows: it was overcast; the wind was from the northwest 15kts (280 degrees); there were 3' waves; visibility was 12nm; ambient air temperature was 34.5 F degrees.
