Cooperative Forestry programs
are guided by the Cooperative Forestry
Strategic Plan FY2002-2007. This strategic plan supports
the Forest Service and Department of Agriculture strategic
plans.
States, territories, national forests, and other cooperators
report annual accomplishments in the Performance Measurement
Accountability System (PMAS). This effort is driven by the
Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 (GPRA). Cooperative
Forestry's performance measures directly tie to the agency's
corporate performance measures to meet the requirements of
GPRA and Forest Service fiscal year accomplishment reporting.
Performance measures are also used by Cooperative Forestry
to evaluate and demonstrate results to the Administration,
Congress, and the public.
FY 2004 Performance
Measures - We recently completed a year-long effort to
revise our performance measures. The new package includes
CF-wide "Director's Measures" in additional to individual
program measures.
FY 2004 annual reporting
of Cooperative Forestry accomplishments is due November
12, 2004. Click here for more
