We focus on addressing your deployment related health concerns and improving your life quality!

The WRIISC provides a variety of services all focused on responding to Veteran health concerns and problems related to deployment. We specialize in providing Veterans with an individualized road-map to follow for better health. WRIISC faculty and staff members are experts in deployment related health and in understanding and managing symptoms that do not have clear medical explanations.

We are proud to be able to offer you - our honorable Veterans of combat - a number of services specific to your healthcare needs. View details on our MEDICAL SERVICES FOR VETERANS.

Based on scientific & clinical excellence, the U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs established two War-Related Illness and Injury Study Centers (WRIISCs) nationwide in May 2001. There are now three centers, all at Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers; locations are East Orange, New Jersey, Washington, DC, and Palo Alto, CA.

Our expertise in clinical care, cutting edge research on deployment related health issues, and education and risk communication services is important in our central mission of providing you with state-of-the art care that focuses on improving your quality of life.
