SCHEDULE OF PROPOSED PROJECTS AVAILABLE ON-LINE
(SANTA FE, NM)-The Santa Fe National Forest has posted the January through March 2009 edition of the Schedule of Proposed Actions on-line at http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/sfe/projects. The Schedule identifies proposed National Forest Land and resource management projects currently undergoing the NEPA (National Environmental Policy Act) environmental analysis process on the Forest.
The proposed projects scheduled for NEPA planning include travel management, tree thinning and prescribed burning, invasive plant control, grazing allotment management; pumice mining, wildlife habitat improvements, recreation, and watershed restoration.
Copies of the Schedule may be obtained at the Santa Fe National Forest Supervisors Office at 1474 Rodeo Road in Santa Fe or by calling (505) 438-7821. The Schedule is also available at Forest Service offices in Coyote, Cuba, Española, Los Alamos, Jemez Springs, Pecos, and Las Vegas.
