Updated: 3:34 pm ET March 1, 2007

SIGNAL is the FAA Academy’s Air Traffic simulation training software used in the Radar and Non-Radar training of Tower, Terminal, Enroute, and International Air Traffic Controllers.

Our team has developed a Remote Process Command (RPC) server component used to remotely control all the SIGNAL components. By using the TCP/IP sockets to communicate between the different processes; this software has been designed for using the web to support distance learning. SIGNAL is currently being used at the FAA Academy and at select domestic and international fielded sites.
