Tom Hudson, Mad River District Ranger, announced today there will be an open house at the Mad River District Office in Mad River, California on May 15, 2009, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. According to Hudson, "We will be here to provide information on upcoming District projects, including travel management. There will also be a special presentation at 3:30 p.m. to share where we’re at and where we’re going."

In addition, information on local employment opportunities will be available. Cyndi Montoya from "Summer Youth" (a program sponsored by the Smart Business Resource Center) will be on hand to discuss job opportunities for young men and women 18 – 24 years old. Many other special guests will be available to help answer questions. "We're here to listen and keep you informed, and we'll have the coffee on," said Hudson.
