Dr. O’Campo is a social epidemiologist at the Centre for Research on Inner City Health at the University of Toronto, St. Michael’s Hospital. Her research is focused on women's and children's health and health policy. Specific areas of research include intimate partner violence; welfare reform and women’s health; prevention of HIV infection in women; perinatal outcomes with a particular focus on infant mortality and preterm birth prevention; and children’s health and development.
