Tassinari, PhD, DABTDr. Tassinari is Senior Director and Head of Strategic Policy Management, Regulatory Policy and Intelligence, Worldwide Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance, at Pfizer in New London, Connecticut. Dr. Tassinari is a member of and recent past Chair of the Pfizer Pediatrics Council. Prior Pfizer positions include Head of Developmental and Reproductive Toxicology and Head of Toxicological Sciences at the Pfizer Groton site. Prior to joining Pfizer, she was Assistant Professor in Cell Biology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and had taught previously at both Simmons and Wellesley College. Dr. Tassinari has published review and primary research articles in the areas of developmental toxicology and juvenile animal toxicology. She is a past-president of the Teratology Society and serves on industry association committees related to pediatrics, reproductive, and developmental toxicology. She is currently vice-chair of the IFPMA Pediatric Task Force. Dr. Tassinari is board certified in toxicology. She received her PhD in Anatomy from the Medical College of Wisconsin and her AB in Biology from Mount Holyoke College.
