Healthy Child Healthy World, a non-profit, non-partisan, national children's environmental health organization headquartered in Los Angeles CA, strongly supports the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) launch of the National Children’s Study (NCS). We are hopeful that the study will yield a rich and comprehensive body of knowledge that will impact the quality of life for families across the United States.
We are so fortunate to have Healthy Child Scientific Board Member Dr. Philip Landrigan closely involved throughout the study’s initiation. His participation continues through his leadership the study out of Mt. Sinai Medical School in New York. Dr. Landrigan has enlisted our help as a communications platform to spread media awareness of the study and to inform parents and communities of its earliest findings.
