SUBJECT: 1996 Annual Government Ethics Conference
We are beginning to plan the program for this year's annual
conference in Philadelphia, PA, September 9-12, 1996. In order to
produce the best possible program for the ethics community, your
input is important. Please use the attached form to identify the
topics and issues that your agency would like to see covered in
concurrent sessions as well as any suggestions you may have for
plenary session topics and speakers.
Because of the uncertainty surrounding this year's budget, it
is important for us to know how many employees your agency expects
to send to the 1996 conference. In estimating the number of
employees your agency expects to send, assume the Office of
Government Ethics (OGE) will not restrict the number of slots
allocated to your agency. Additionally, we will work to keep the
registration fee close to that charged for the last two conferences
($235.00).
Please provide your input no later than Friday, March 15,
1996, by faxing the attached form to Sheila Powers, Conference
Coordinator, at 202-523-1251. Please note this is NOT a
registration form. We are looking forward to hearing from you and
putting together another successful conference. Thank you for your
interest and prompt reply.
