Mullen-Roth Associate Director for Education SUBJECT: Public Financial Disclosure Review Workshop and Post-Employment Workshop offered in Washington, DC in April The U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE) will conduct two ethics training workshops in Washington, DC. The Public Financial Disclosure Review Workshop will be offered on April 2, and the Post-Employment Workshop will be offered on April 22. These training workshops are designed for new ethics officials. The Public Financial Disclosure Review Workshop will focus on the skills and knowledge required to review and analyze the Executive Branch Public Financial Disclosure Report (SF 278) to ensure technical accuracy, identify potential conflicts of interest and determine appropriate remedial action. The Post-Employment Workshop will cover the post-employment statute, 18 U.S.C. § 207, and include student exercises and group discussion. These workshops are offered FREE to any Federal Government agency; however, advance registration is required. Each person planning to attend MUST register by faxing a completed registration form to OGE by March 26 (for April 2 workshop) and April 16 (for April 22 workshop). Registration will be handled on a first-come basis and each class size will be limited to 40 participants. NO TELEPHONE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Registration forms are attached.
