SUBJECT:  Compilation of Federal Ethics Laws 


     I am very pleased to provide you with the enclosed copy of the
"Compilation of Federal Ethics Laws" that the Office of Government
Ethics (OGE) has prepared in commemoration of the 25th anniversary
of the passage of the Ethics in Government Act of 1978.  I hope
that this booklet will be a handy and useful reference for you in
dealing with ethics questions.  

     In the event that you are interested in obtaining additional
copies of this compilation, OGE has arranged with the Government
Printing Office (GPO) for agencies to ride our requisition order. 
To order copies of the booklet, you must send an SF-1, Printing and
Binding Requisition Form, to GPO by February 27, 2004.  Please
include on the SF-1 form the following:

     GPO Jacket Number, 302-888.

     OGE Requisition Number, 4-00008.

     Full Title, Compilation of Federal Ethics Laws.
